THE SPACE

Waterpark Haven is a central retreat overlooking The Strand, Townsville's popular hub for beachfront activities and alfresco dining. Whether you're looking to unwind or indulge, this getaway has you covered. 

Take in the picturesque top-story views of the bay and magnetic Island from the balcony bar table or relaxed egg chair. Enjoy the cheerful sounds of the Strand Waterpark with families picnicking and kids having fun with water play. The balcony is the perfect spot to take it easy, and if you're lucky, a kookaburra might even pay you a visit. 

Step inside and stay cool with ceiling fans and split system air-conditioners throughout the apartment. The open-plan layout presents the dining area and lounge with smart TV to the right. To the left, you'll find the entertainer's kitchen, complete with a breakfast bar, Nespresso coffee machine and dishwasher. The kitchen has all the counter space, cookware & appliances needed for preparing your favourite holiday meals. 

The two bedrooms sit at the back of the apartment and feature large windows with views of the iconic Castle Hill. The master bedroom is furnished with a queen-sized bed and the second bedroom two king single beds. 

The bathroom is spacious and neat, featuring a large walk-in shower with an oversized showerhead. Additionally, there's a convenient in-unit laundry equipped with both washing machine and tumble dryer. 

We've got you covered with all the essentials for kids, beach toys & towels, games such as the Townsville edition of Monopoly and kid-friendly tableware. Travel cot & highchair available by request.   

The Bay Apartments is a secure gated complex for your peace of mind. There is a one secure undercover parking space reserved just for you. Additional secure visitor parking and free street parking available nearby. 

Location is the star of this place. Within a short walking distance, you'll find a supermarket and shops, picnic areas and playgrounds, the alfresco dining and café district, Breakwater Marina, The Ville Casino, Magnetic Island Ferry Terminal, The Museum of Tropical Queensland, and the lively nightlife of Flinders Street, just to name a few!

GUEST ACCESS

Guests will have exclusive private access to the entire unit excluding a locked supplies cupboard in the master bedroom. Self check-in is via a safety lock box, ensuring a smooth and flexible arrival process.

GETTING AROUND
Townsville Shuttle Services offers transport between Townsville Airport and the city. Operating 7 days a week meeting most major flights. You can book online or call them directly.

If you have a vehicle, you'll appreciate the convenience and security of the undercover secure carpark. There are also additional visitor carparks available.

No car, no problem! This prime location is perfect for those on foot. You'll find nearby supermarket, shops, restaurants, cafes, and a bus stop all within easy walking distance or E-scooter ride away. 

IMPORTANT NOTES 

This unit is located on the 3rd floor and does not have a lift. Guests are required to climb three storeys of stairs. This accommodation is best suited for those who are physically fit. If you have any mobility concerns, we kindly ask you to consider this before booking.

The apartment is part of a complex with neighbouring units. Guests may hear some noise during their stay including people, traffic, construction or nearby businesses.

Please note that the maximum clearance of the car parking garage is approximately 2 meters height and 2.5 metres width.
